Thanks for your feedback, which continues to shape the story in surprising ways.  Those of your cheering for our lovers to have sex?  I'm right there with you.  Those of you who were concerned?  I worry too!  A weary Buffy turning to a love-struck William - to ease her pain with sex - sounds very season six scary.  I should stop pontificating and start posting, huh?  Thank you to Minx, Capella, DoriansKitten and Science for beta'ing.  All errors, including comma abuse, are mine.  But not the banner.  Amy made that!

 The Metropolitan Hotel.  I don't know the year, but the hotel was destroyed in 1895, so it has to be "around" when our couple stayed there. William and Buffy visited while it was still nice, but a bit past its prime..
